如果你是女性，聽到男人對你說「以後不用工作我養你」，妳會認同嗎？在PTT的Womentalk版上，有網友問到這問題，不少網友都說絕對不接受，「一直伸手拿錢很不舒服」。
有網友引用周星馳電影「喜劇之王」中片段，當尹天仇對柳飄飄說「我養你」啊時，柳飄飄就掉淚了。
網友多認為這句話「多是畫大餅」、「誰會信啊」。且務實面來看，要是被家暴或是被甩了，中年加上與社會脫節兩個因素，「要我怎麼活？」。不過還是有人會感動，但也不會接受，聽聽就好。而有男性建議女性，只要說出「這次我請客吧」，男方就會相當感動，不用說到「以後不用工作我養你」這句話。
另有網友建議：對女生說「房、車登記妳名下」最實在，男士們可以考慮。
